After graduating from university, I worked as physician for 4 years, treating patients with leukemia. During the years, I found it deplorable　that none of them was cured by the therapy available then, which led me to basic research. For more than 30 years since then, I have occupied myself in the study of EB virus, one of cancer viruses. While basic research proceeds behind the scenes, sometimes it bears good fruit applicable for valuable use when the research results are accumulated.　I established Evec in 2003 to contribute my research achievement to the society, remaining engaged in research world.

Human blood teems with highly active antibodies which can never be induced by the mouse immunizing method. Evec has the unique technique to develop antibodies from human blood lymphocytes by using EB virus that induces B lymphocytes to proliferate. I am confident that our technique will replace the currently major one to develop antibodies using mouse, and will be the standard method of antibody development.

With my staff members, I am committed myself to play a role in developing antibody medicine, a special remedy, for the diseases intractable to this day.
